Excellent location, literally right outside Hongdae train station. The room is spacious enough for three and has a heater, though because of the full glass windows, winter cold can still be felt. Extra comforters/blankets were very helpful. The washing machine was very convenient, especially in cold weather. I bought detergent from Daiso when I arrived, which is just across the street. The microwave was useful for reheating food, and the Japanese-style bidet was a nice touch. The owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with.

This unit offers good value mainly for its location. It is not new, which you may notice on the walls, but it is clean and functional. If you are very sensitive or expect hotel-style service, a hotel may suit you better. This place is ideal for independent travelers who are comfortable managing on their own. I stayed 7 nights and was able to manage well. Only one trash bag was provided, so having extra is helpful. There are no printed instructions, so expect to figure things out (washing machine, heater, waste disposal, internet); having Google Translate on your phone is useful. Towels are small and limited, pillowcases were not provided, and extra tissue rolls were not available, so long-stay guests may want to prepare. There is no drying rack, and eating utensils are limited, so don’t rely on them if you plan to cook often.
