Nido de Amor

The location was fantastic. On arrival we had an issue in gaining access. The keys were to be collected from a lock box but there are over 30 lock boxes and they all look the same so for other travellers make sure to get a photo or description of the lock box before you arrive. We couldn't get the owner on the phone as she wasn't picking up so communication wasn't great. It did improve as time went on but after travelling all day you don't need the unnecessary hassle. The property was smaller than I expected so in my opinion suited to short trips of around 1 week or less. We were given a bath towel each for 17 nights and no change of sheets. I had to argue this point with the agent/owner by phone and eventually after 10 days we received a change of bed linen and a change of towels so for other travellers just be aware of this. We had to buy a couple of bath towels ourselves and also some sheets and pillow cases to keep us going which we shouldn't have had to do if we had known they would be changed. We have stayed in plenty of rented apartments in Spain and all over Europe and have never encountered this problem. I would like to see how well the agent/owner would manage for 17 nights with 2 bath towels and no change of bed linen. The kitchen is modern and well kitted out with plenty of crockery, cutlery , pots, blender, coffee maker etc. There is a two ring electric hob which we had some difficulty with at the start trying to see how it worked. We couldn't find any instruction leaflets for any of the appliances which are usually left out where one can find them so after contacting the owner we were informed that they were in a press tucked right at the back which you wouldn't find in a month of Sundays unless you were told where they were. There is no microwave or toaster.

Low power in shower, only one sets of keys, no loungers for pool, balcony, inadvertently mistook neighbour's bell as light for landing area and disturbed him

El apartamento está bastante bien distribuido, es muy acogedor, estaba todo super limpio. La ubicación es bastante buena, cerca de playas, del centro, y tiendas. Apenas hay que coger el coche.

Estaba todo súper limpio y nuevo, buena ubicación a dos minutos de la playa caminando y a 5 minutos del centro de nerja.

No tiene parking pero justo a 50 metros hay uno publico. Yo al menos tuve suerte y aparque justo al lado del apartamento porque se iva un coche.
