Beautiful light filled apartment in London

This was a great apartment for us to use as a base over Christmas to have family time and visit our family locally. The apartment was spacious, warm, bright and clean with lovely contemporary decor and was on a quiet private road. We weren't there to go out and about but this would be a great base to explore London as it is very close to the railway station, and Brockley and nearby Deptford and Greenwich are great areas to explore and for cafe's and bars. Julia was a fantastic host, very friendly and responsive and her partner even came out to fix something late on Christmas day with no fuss and a friendly smile. Thanks again for this and helping us to retrieve our left belongings :-)

All the amenities were as described in the property description except that it says that there is a sofa bed in the living room but in fact it was a small fold up bed in the main bedroom at the foot of the bed. This is fine if your 7th guest is a child but my 24 year old youngest daughter wasn't going to sleep with mum and dad on a camp bed! It was fine for us as she was happy to curl up on the sofa which was very comfy! The description also says that there is a dining table which there isn't, just a breakfast bar which doesn't accommodate 7 people - no problem if you're using this as a base but maybe an issue if you want to have family or group meals together. Having said this, for the price, this was a great deal and still a lovely place, just maybe the description needs to be tweaked to avoid disappointment.
