Grigna Mountain View

What an amazingly warm, cozy and well looked-after apartment, tastefully decorated with original art and offering spectacular views of the Grigna mountains and Valsassina. The location is fantastic – so close to Alpe Giumello and only about 20 minutes from Bellano( on lake Como), yet set in very tranquil surroundings that are perfect for unwinding. Access to the apartment was super easy, everything explained beforehand. The apartment is ideal for families, with everything you could possibly need to cook or warm your food, and all the appliances worked perfectly. It was spotlessly clean, with plenty of fresh towels and sheets, and the hosts were so thoughtful in heating the apartment before our arrival. We tasted some of the local "digestivo" from the home bar as well. :) This apartment is in Indovero, a very tiny hamlet with Alpine Charm, old cobbled pathways, a fine vineyard and its so close to Bars, restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket, making it easy to stock up and enjoy evenings in after a day out in nature. We did lots of walking in the mountains and even went to the top of Monte Muggio, where the views over Lake Como and Lake Lugano were absolutely spectacular. Parking was very convenient, with plenty of space around the property, and the Wi‑Fi worked flawlessly throughout our stay. This place is most highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and tranquility in a beautiful mountain setting, and we will definitely be back in the summer. Our kid just enjoyed the mountains so much!

La casa in sé é accogliente e anche ben fornita e organizzata. Locali grandi e vista meravigliosa (da un lato della casa!). Posizione comoda per raggiungere sentieri/altri paesi.

La pulizia è sicuramente da migliorare: materassi, cuscini e divano erano pieni di peli di animale. In due cassetti del soggiorno ho trovato ulteriori peli e capelli, cosa piuttosto sgradevole, soprattutto considerando l’alta percentuale che l’agenzia trattiene rispetto al costo dell’affitto. (Vedi foto) La vista panoramica è davvero bellissima, ma nella descrizione non viene menzionato un dettaglio importante: la camera da letto e il bagno affacciano direttamente sulla strada (vedi foto). Avendo soggiornato in estate, con le finestre aperte, abbiamo dormito molto male a causa del rumore che, seppur non costante, non garantiva un sonno indisturbato (auto, moto, ambulanze, clacson). Inoltre, ogni notte rientrava un condomino con un ape car che parcheggiava proprio sotto le finestre: impossibile non svegliarsi. Nel complesso, peccato per questi aspetti perché la casa avrebbe un buon potenziale.
