Excellent location, quiet & relaxing. We took our own drinks but there were some items available which was nice. Rooms were very comfortable & lovely sitting outside watching the birds 5 min walk to local pub for food, 5 min drive to local supermarket. BBQ outside & such a great setting for a chill out break, it was a perfect stay Can park car

I don’t think there was anything I didn’t like.

Very peaceful and quiet, good pub within walking distance and various shops and takeaways a short drive away. Good views of the river with plenty of wildlife to watch. It's clearly a holiday home so dont expect 5 star accommodation, but everything you need is there and the beds and sofas were comfy. There is plenty to do around the area but you will need transport to get to them Train station is within walking distance and can take you into Norwich or to Great Yarmouth with regular trains. All in all a nice little lodge perfect for a couple and weekend getaway.

If you have a kayak or paddle board there is access to the river from the veranda, however the guest information stated that they required proof of a licence (which you need for using watercraft on the broads) and it needed to be shown before using the river, this wasn't told to us before going to the property so maybe something to add to the information on booking.com. Mobile signal is patchy and the WiFi is slow but you won't really need either too much if your going for the peace and quiet.
