Kvirike Cottage Kazbegi

The view is incredible! And the interior is very cute, the sleeping area feels like a chilhood dream. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is convenient, the kitchen too. The village is very calm and I wish we could have stayed longer. The village is well situated to be away from the crowds yet close to the beautiful hikes and landmarks.

The only problem is that it got very hot upstais in the morning because of the sun.

We would love to share our experience at Kvirike Cottage this New Year 2026 — it was truly unforgettable. We booked the cottage for five nights, and honestly, it wasn’t enough. The location is wonderfully secluded, far from the main road, surrounded by peaceful nature with no one around — except for horses and cows, which only added to the charm and made us feel even more connected to the landscape. The windows overlook a quiet village on one side and mountains on the other, creating a perfect sense of escape and tranquility. We were hoping to see snow, and nature did not disappoint — on December 31st we were rewarded with a beautiful winter fairytale. The cottage itself is very well equipped and thoughtfully prepared. I needed to cook a bit for our New Year celebration, and everything was there in abundance: knives, skillets, dishes, and glasses. All the necessary appliances were available as well — a microwave, kettle, hand coffee maker, etc. The sink deserves a special mention — simply wonderful! The four-burner stove was a pleasant surprise, as this is quite rare in cottages like this and made cooking especially enjoyable. The bathroom features a modern shower system, which was very comfortable. Downstairs, the central heating kept the house warm at all times, and upstairs we used the sturdy heater provided by the host. It was pure bliss to sit by the window, enjoy the view, and relax in the cozy warmth. The bed was comfortable and inviting, and we even brought our projector to fully enhance the atmosphere. We also traveled with our dog, and she had an amazing time too — running around the front yard, watching the surroundings from the windows, and feeling completely welcome. Giorgi, our host, and his family were incredibly kind and accommodating. The house was beautifully decorated for New Year, which made the stay feel even more special. We were also welcomed with wine and chocolates — which we happily enjoyed on the very first day 😁.

15 minutes from Stepantsminda, and it was an amazing experience. The views of the garden and the surrounding mountains are absolutely stunning - you can enjoy them right from the windows or while relaxing outside. The beds were very comfortable, with great mattresses and pillows, and we slept perfectly. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need for cooking, which made our stay even more comfortable. The hosts were kind, responsive, and always ready to help. Pet-friendly 🤍
