We traveled from Malaysia and stayed here for 6 days. Overall, I was very happy with the reception and kitchen staff, who were incredibly friendly and helpful. Although the breakfast menu was the same every day throughout our stay, I found it to be acceptable given the budget-friendly price. If you are not looking for VIP-style service, this hotel is a decent choice.
The hotel seems to cater mostly to local guests and travelers from Russia, so they might not be very experienced with international tourists, especially from Malaysia. One critical point for future guests is the Tourist Tax receipt. It took a very long time for them to prepare it until the moment we were leaving for the airport. Furthermore, the details on the receipt did not match my Agoda booking, which made me uneasy about potential issues with immigration.
A tip for fellow travelers: Please ensure you request a receipt that lists the name of every registered guest individually. We were almost not allowed to board our flight at the airport because the receipt only displayed my name. Even for a budget hotel, the management should be more professional regarding documentation for foreign visitors to ensure a smooth departure.
The only major downside was the cleanliness of the bathroom. Over our 6-day stay, I noticed the toilet bowl was not cleaned properly. I actually ended up cleaning the toilet myself because I couldn't stand the lack of hygiene. I would suggest the owner provide better training for the housekeeping staff.
What I loved most, however, was the staff. They were so hardworking and did their best to assist us with whatever we needed. If you ask me whether I would stay here again, the answer is yes-but I hope to see improvements in their documentation system and room cleanliness in the future. The location is very strategic, and it would be a pity if these issues aren't addressed. Thank you for the service provided.
