    Hostel is placed in a historical villa, but all the rooms and bathrooms were refurnished and repainted with bright colours. Kitchen is so well equipped, we cooked every day. Owners also have a cute labradoodle that enjoys petting, while sitting behind the reception counter! It is such a cosy space in a more quiet neighbourhood than the octagon, so I extended my stay.

    I enjoyed my stay there and the other guests apart from noisy family upstairs and it was too hot. It’s good to see money being spent on upgrading to motel standard. Found it a bit of a slog parking on street though nearby, steep street and steep driveway, hopefully off street parking will be reinstated after building work? Helpful, friendly staff helped carry bag upstairs. Like location - good for op shops! Character building on the outside, mod inside.

    This is a funky old house in a San Francisco-like setting. Steep driveway makes it tough to access but worth it and a bargain. Duvets without sheets and tiny ants in the windows were a problem.

    Everything was great except for a woman who works there very aggressive behavior, while cleaning she was throwing plates and asking for things aggressive, I would not recommend just for her and that there’s only one bathroom for a lot of guests.
