La Terrazza Fiorita

We had a wonderful stay! Stefan and his family are absolutely lovely — we were welcomed with Sardinian bread and beer, and they even carried our luggage up to the rooftop flat. Stefan and his son took the time to show us everything, which made us feel right at home. The terrace is huge and beautiful, filled with plants, and for the price it’s more than you could hope for. It feels like having your own little castle, with a 360° view over the town. We enjoyed long breakfasts on the terrace, magical sunsets, and stargazing at night. The flat is cozy and has everything you need for cooking. With our car, we could easily reach all the wonderful beaches in southern Sardinia, and by taxi, you can be in Cagliari in just 15 minutes — perfect for enjoying bars or beach clubs while still having peaceful nights. We loved this combination of city proximity and quiet surroundings. The AC works perfectly, there are plenty of grocery stores nearby, and parking was never an issue — we always found a free spot close by. We would definitely come back. The bed turned out to be a sleeping couch, which was the only thing we had been a little unsure about before arriving. But with the added topper, it was surprisingly comfortable, and we both slept really well. The pigeons on the roof added a bit of character — they loved to perch on the chimney, and their cooing would echo through the old fireplace. It was a quirky little detail that made us smile and reminded us we were surrounded by nature. If there were a way to wash and hang laundry, this place would be absolutely perfect. For our one-week stay we didn’t really need it, but it could be a nice extra for longer visits. The shower water pressure is on the gentle side, as it runs on a pump that you switch on and off. Still, the bathroom was charming and pleasant to use, so it didn’t take away from the overall comfort.
