Château des Arras is what you'd expect from an old French Château located in the countryside, with beautiful interior furnishings and huge rooms. Our bedroom was very spacious and had a pleasant view over the entrance and driveway. The outdoor swimming pool was a welcome relief during the hot, sunny days.
Unfortunately, Château des Arras has seen better days, although it has to be said we were informed that this is a 'working' Château. The breakfast was simple and rather limited, and the bedroom, although spacious, didn't even have a fan to ease the very hot evening; the driveway also required a four wheel drive to navigate.
