Charming Vintage Italianate Apartment in Historic 1900 Home — Walk to Downtown Anoka!
Step back in time and experience the unique charm of this beautifully preserved Italianate home, built in 1900 with exquisite architectural details like ornate window headers, elaborate scrollwork brackets, and wide cornices. Thoughtfully converted into two separate apartments, this listing is for the entire upper-level apartment, blending historic elegance with modern comforts for a truly special stay.
About the Space:
When you arrive, you’ll enter through the front door around the house and be welcomed by a stunning entryway with a grand staircase leading you upstairs. The apartment features:
A cozy living room perfect for relaxing
A fully equipped kitchen ready for cooking
One spacious bedroom with a comfortable king-sized bed
A second smaller bedroom with a single bed (note: this room faces a busy street and may experience some road noise)
A full bathroom with a shower
Laundry facilities are shared in the basement, accessible via a coded door around the back of the house—details will be provided after booking.
Important Notes:
The home is located on a main road; some traffic noise can be heard, especially during peak hours. Many guests find this manageable, but we want to be upfront for your comfort.
To keep nightly rates affordable, consumables like paper towels and toiletries are not replenished mid-stay. You’ll start with basics like toilet paper and hand soap.
Parking is available for 1 car in the driveway; no overnight on-street parking is allowed. Additional parking may be arranged with prior approval.

The bed was wonderful and very clean. Read the arrival instructions very closely because the parking address is different. After that minor confusion (my fault) the stay was great. It was easy to work remotely, with good Wi-Fi. Parking was good. Would stay again.

Spent a week at the property. It was very nice and quite cozy. The owners were amazing. Very well maintained property. I’ll definitely be back.
