Soak in the beauty of Costa Rica’s Pacific coast from this stunning ocean view villa in Playas del Coco. Set at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a gated community with roving security, this peaceful retreat offers panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean from nearly every room. The property is accessible by both rental car and golf cart, making it easy to get around town and beyond!
We manage over 100 vacation rentals in the area, so our hosting style is a little different than that of an individual host. During your stay, you’ll be supported by a dedicated team to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Coco Bay Estates is a large gated development located between Playas del Coco and Playa Ocotal. Tucked off the main road, you are just a 5-minute drive to the shops and restaurants of Playas del Coco. Guests can access the development's Clubhouse which is home to a large pool, gym, tennis courts, and pickleball courts as well as a delicious restaurant, Sugoi.
Playas del Coco is just a 30-minute drive from Guanacaste Airport (LIR), near Liberia. Several supermarkets, fruit vendors, and more restaurants, bars, and shops to count. Enjoy a walk along the beach boardwalk or stroll the beach from point to point for a 3km walk. Many scuba diving, sport fishing, and sightseeing tours depart from Coco. You’re also close to several area day trip spots – waterfalls, hiking, hot springs, and mud baths, cultural experiences, and river tours. Playas del Coco is the perfect home base for an amazing Costa Rican vacation!

The house was amazing however we had no water for two days! That was very careless of the property owner/manager to not notice this before we arrived. We got refunded for the two days but it was just an inconvenience. I didn’t notice that water is detrimental to every day living!

Beautiful home in a great location. Overlooks the whole area and only a short drive to the beach. I would choose this home again when we come back! The pool facilities are beautiful and the restaurant on the grounds is delicious!

Villa Regio in Coco Bay Estates is a fantastic home located in a secure, gated community—perfect for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Playas del Coco. The layout is excellent, featuring a large master suite on the main level and two additional bedrooms downstairs, giving everyone plenty of privacy and space.
The open kitchen is spacious and inviting, great for cooking or entertaining. The community itself feels safe, quiet, and well maintained.
One thing to note: the pool stays quite cold during the summer months due to limited sun exposure, though I imagine it’s absolutely perfect during the winter season.
What truly elevated the experience was working with Rich Coast Vacations. They were, hands down, the best management company I’ve ever worked with. Communication was constant and incredibly clear, they responded quickly to any questions, and they were extremely helpful with transportation and anything else we needed. Their professionalism made the entire stay smooth and stress-free.
Overall, Villa Regio paired with Rich Coast Vacations made for an exceptional experience—highly recommended.

Had a great time at Villa Regio - house was beautiful and just what we needed. Enjoyed the pool every day and used the Coco Bay Estates pool/tennis complex as well. Also went to the beach club which didn't look like much when we pulled up, but turned out to be really nice for lounging and having a few drinks. Getting to Coco Bay Estates was a little tricky, and took us through the heart of Playa del Coco. But it was good for everyone to see local Costa Rica and not just a gated community.
Rich Coast was very responsive and handled an issue with our first reservation that became unavoidably unavailable. Even though we didn't get our original rental, I would rent from Rich Coast again because they did their best to make it right.
Only thing we missed was a guest book to sign - those usually have good tips for first timers like us.
