"La petite marchande" is a 10 km walking circuit that crosses the forest of Escoublac and crosses the hinterland of Baule. It takes its name from a travelling haberdasher, Pauline Antignac, who died in 1963, who went from village to village in a child's carriage to sell her goods.[294][295].
Tourist circuits:
The Mottes circuit also runs 10 km in the Escoublac bocage. Like the previous one, it starts from the Place de la Mairie in Escoublac and visits several castle mounds erected to protect stately homes in the Middle Ages. A third 10 km marked path, known as the "Bois d'Amour circuit", winds through the forest located east of the Boulevard de Cacqueray.
The salt marshes of Guérande, a must-see in the region.
