The WELL HOUSE is located right off Hwy 729, just a short drive from historic Jefferson Tx. This cozy home includes 2 bedrooms, one bath, and perfect living room. This was a last minute stay based on cleanliness, value and the location being relatively close to Jefferson. It had the basics you'd expect, although the kitchen was somewhat sparsely supplied. In addition to meeting our needs for a one-night value stay, it also allowed us to enjoy nature and see deer feeding in the backyard around both sunset and sunrise. We also went walking along a well-maintained trail in the woods behind the house.

The house was clean and the host was very responsive. There is a lot of weak spots on the floor in front of the bathroom and in both bedrooms. I had read reviews about the weak spots and I assumed they were fixed. They were not. You have to be very careful trying to walk into the bathrooms or bedrooms. I am afraid if it is not fixed someone will fall thru the floor soon. I told the host about them and he said he was working on getting them fixed
