Despite the calm and rural environment, it is just a 5-minute drive from the beautiful bay of São Martinho do Porto, where you can walk along the seafront, eat fresh fish or simply relax on the sand. For the more adventurous, there are trails along the coast that connect São Martinho to Salir do Porto, with stunning views over the Atlantic.
If you want to explore the region, you are also a step away from emblematic places such as Alcobaça, with its World Heritage Monastery, Caldas da Rainha and its thermal baths, gardens and daily fruit and vegetable markets, or the enchanted village of Óbidos, which comes even more to life during festivals such as the Medieval Market, the International Chocolate Festival or Vila Natal.
