About this cottage rental
Behind the white picket gate, this spacious studio begins with a charming seating nook—ideal for soaking in the quiet rhythm of the neighbourhood from the sunlit patio. Step inside and you’re welcomed by a queen-size bed framed by sheer curtains and paired with practical open clothing storage, blending comfort and function in a warm, light-filled setting. A mid-century-style chair beckons for quiet moments with a book or morning cuppa, while a wall-mounted TV is perfectly positioned for relaxed evenings in bed.
Just beside it, the kitchen makes excellent use of space with its stainless steel worktop, open shelving and basic cooking tools. There’s a four-burner cooktop, oven, large fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle and all the dishes and cookware needed for home-style dining. Across the room, a timber dining table offers a cosy spot for shared meals, journaling or planning your next adventure—gently lit by a reading lamp clipped to its edge for a warm, focused glow.
After a day of exploring, refresh in the bathroom, which features soft wave-patterned floor-to-ceiling tiling, a glass-walled rainfall shower, and a floating vanity. Essentials like shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and a hairdryer are thoughtfully provided so you can travel light.
There’s no on-site laundry, but the nearest laundromat is an eight-minute walk away. Street parking is available with time restrictions. Though compact, this studio is thoughtfully designed for year-round comfort, offering a radiator-style wall heater for cooler months and portable fans for warmer days.
During your stay, you and your group will have the entire cottage to yourselves. Please make yourselves at home!
Set in the heart of North Hobart, this studio places you just an eight-minute walk from Elizabeth Street’s dynamic dining scene—home to local favourites like Kalbi for bold Korean flavours, Pancho Villa’s vibrant Mexican fare, the ever-popular Born in Brunswick for brunch, and woodfired pizza from Room For A Pony. The Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens are only a five-minute drive away, while Hobart’s CBD is just six minutes by car, where you can visit the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery, dine harbourside at Kings Pier Marina, or shop boutique finds along Elizabeth Street Mall. Everyday essentials are nearby too, with a laundromat just eight minutes on foot and Woolworths a 12-minute stroll from home.
Due to local regulations, we can happily host you for up to 90 nights. Any bookings that exceed this duration will be cancelled by Vrbo.
