Enjoy lazy days by the pool or days out exploring pretty seaside towns. Relax and reset in the countryside close to the fairytale beaches of Salento at this fabulous retreat for 14.
Quietly located amongst the olive groves, a 6-minute drive from the centre of Carpignano Salentino, Villa Masseria Torre Calavaci is the ideal choice for a relaxing escape with large groups of family and friends. This historic villa has been built around a Medieval tower and a trullo that have been thoughtfully restored to seamlessly blend original stonework and elegant vaulted ceilings with contemporary design and modern features.
The stylishly furnished interiors are arranged across the two-story tower, the Trullo and a modern two-bedroom apartment. Three of the ensuite bedrooms enjoy an independent entrance. The main accommodation features several interconnecting living spaces designed for relaxation with large comfortable sofas and a dining area with ample space for family meals. There are two separate kitchens equipped with a Mokka coffee machine, an oven, a cooker hob, and a fridge freezer.
Outside, the villa is ideally set up for alfresco living with a private garden, a sun deck, swimming pool, and a dining area, complete with table and chairs.

Bedrooms 1 - 4: There are four air-conditioned ensuite bedrooms furnished with a double bed
Bedroom 5: The fifth air-conditioned ensuite bedroom is furnished with twin joinable beds
Bedrooms 6 & 7: The sixth and seventh bedrooms are situated in the apartment. Both are furnished with twin joinable beds. Neither has air conditioning.

Bathroom 1: The first ensuite bathroom is fitted with a bath, a bidet, a washbasin and a WC

The property is situated in the countryside, a 6-minute drive from the historic village of Carpignano Salentino, close to some of the most beautiful beaches in Italy. Torre dell\' Orso is a 17-minute drive, known for its striking limestone cliffs, crystal-clear waters and fine white sand, whilst the beautiful Baia dei Turchi is a 22-minute drive.
Nature lovers must head to the incredible conservation area of the Alimini Lakes (a 20-minute drive) for birdwatching, swimming and nature walks. Another notable attraction nearby (a 20-minute drive) is the Grotta della Poesia (Cave of Poetry), a natural sea cave known for its emerald-green waters that has become popular for cliff diving and swimming.
Other popular excursions in the area include a visit to Otranto (a 25-minute drive) known for its pretty seaside setting, Lecce, the "Florence of the South” (a 30-minute drive) or a day relaxing at the picturesque seaside town of Santa Cesarea Terme where visitors can relax at the town\'s thermal spas (a 35-minute drive away).
