There are trails & a waterfront lounging area that oozes serenity, affording you a getaway setting conveniently located near everything & yet so removed that you would swear you were in the Alaskan wilderness. The host, Ken, was so nice, was accommodating and never was bothered that I needed to contact him. The cabin is in a beautiful location, it was very relaxing. True to the description, it is “in the woods” but also very close to Dahlonega.If you’re looking for a rustic, quiet and relaxing place to stay, I would absolutely recommend staying here.

Great location, comfy home, well appointed except for the lack of coffee (2 pods for 4 people for 2 mornings) which we thought would be available. Not a problem - just bring your own. Host was more than accommodating. Highly recommend.

Beautiful views right beside the river--- well maintained house with plenty of room for everyone. Perfect balance of seclusion and yet just 5 minutes from downtown Dahlonega.
