Perfect venue

This is a beautiful and well equipped house in a quiet area above the Azul marina in Calheta. The views are stunning and there is a lovely terrace to enjoy the views and pool.

Reversing our car into the driveway could be challenging until you get used to it.

Amazing house - felt brand-new. Ground floor is basically one very big room with a big kitchen, dining and sofa/TV area. Really well equipped kitchen with direct access to both indoor and outdoor dining area, nice indoor and outdoor dining areas, great sofa for relaxing or watching the nice OLED TV. It really looks exactly like the pictures! Windows all roll to the side giving you direct access to the pool. House is facing so there is sun most of the day and evening. Pool can be heated up to 30 deg. C upon request (extra cost). We loved the heated pool during our stay end March/early April. Car is parked on premise behind automatic gate. Amazing view from both ground and first floor. In the evening, there's lights all over the garden and in the pool, making outdoors useful all night. House is very new, and all lights and curtains are controlled at a few central switch panels. Works well (very modern). If into hiking, this house is well located for both the famous 25 waterfalls hike, and really nice hikes at Prazeres / Paul do Mar.

It was perfect. Nothing to dislike on the house. If something, there's a couple of power cables outside of the property, disturbing the view a little bit, but not really something that disturbs. Worth noting: You should expect to cook on your own if staying in a villa that is not central. There is no outdoor BBQ (not needed during our stay). Location is up the hill (hence the nice view), and shopping / dining options are all a (short) car-ride away.
