Our home is professionally maintained but not brand new, so minor cosmetic wear may be present.
The home receives regular pest service, but occasional insects are common in the Southeast. Wildlife such as squirrels, raccoons, and deer may also be seen outdoors.
Guests have private access to the home, driveway, and backyard. Some owner closets remain locked.
Exterior cameras monitor only the front entrance, driveway, and street. There are no indoor cameras.
Because this is a pet-friendly home, occasional pet hair may remain despite professional cleaning, not appropriate for guests with dog allergies.
A railroad track is within a mile of the home. Trains horn can be heard outside, and the sound may also be faintly heard from inside the home.

We don't expect to charge any additional fees, and most guests never incur them. To help keep our home in excellent condition for everyone, charges may apply for damage, excessive cleaning, unauthorized guests, undisclosed pets, late checkout without approval, or violations of our House Rules. Credit card processing fees are non-refundable if a reservation is canceled, this fees are paid immediately to the credit card processor and can not be recovered.

We enjoyed a two-night stay at Westover Hills. The check-in was very smooth and appreciated the assistance with the keypad. Once this was figured out it was a fine rest of the stay. The place was incredibly convenient to Uptown to take in a concert at Spectrum Center. We made a couple meals in and the kitchen could not have been more stocked to accomplish this. The neighborhood was very quiet with the exception of the nearby train tracks that brought a train horn several times each night but we had a heads up on this so we expected it. If in need of a convenient place to Uptown this is it for sure!

The house was very clean and nice! The host was very kind and helped us get into the keypad when we struggled a little at first. She was quick to answer and immediately fixed the issue. There was a loose board between the kitchen and dining room. And the shower didn’t stay hot very long. We had 6 guests total and after the second shower, we had to wait a little while for the next person to get in. I can’t remember if it’s in the listing, but there is a train nearby that does blow its horn throughout the entire night. I sleep heavy, so it didn’t bother me much, but when we were up late I definitely heard it every 20-30 mins. One of my friends said she stayed up most of the night when it would sound. Overall the house was really cute and tidy. And I wouldn’t mind staying again!

My daughter and I stayed there for a short antiquing/exploration trip with my dog. We felt relaxed the entire time and didn’t want to leave. The backyard may not be the best for small children (watch out for the sprinkler head in the middle of the yard) and other tripping hazards which probably also is due to the time of year we were there, but the home went over and beyond meeting our needs. Communication with Harriet was prompt and enjoyable. The home was well stocked and the beds were comfortable! We look forward to going back soon!

I stay in a lot of VRBOs and have never stayed at one more well appointed than this one! The kitchen is stocked so well,the cute box of pet products that my dog loved, all the extras with the toiletries and personal items...things i never thought would be avaliable...you definitely made it feel as hospitable and ready for anything!! Not to mention that the house was so incredibly cute, loved the layout and took a few pics and measurements of your kitchen that I plan to model mine on! And the game area, that was amazing too! Loved the pacman arcade game, the very BIG, fenced yard, the back deck, it was just a great stay. You have fully outdone the house...the neighborhood felt safe and quiet, the check out instructions by far the easiest ever. I wish you had more properties would be my only critique because you certainly go FAR above and beyond on this one!!! Thanks for the stay.
