Villa Collina

Very quiet hotel, with marvelous garden, and a new pool. Next to Giardini Naxos main large beach, at 5 min walk from the riviera restaurants, pizzerias and gellaterias, bars... Clean and functional, big rooms with access or view on garden. Parking possibility, thing very precious on Taormina. Kind and very helpful staff. Excellent quality/price choice.

We (me & my 21 year old daughter) booked late and late in the season (mid Sept) yet couldn't be happier with our choice and the value for money. 5 mins walk from the best sandy beach in Giardinni Naxos, a short bus ride from Taormina, (The beach there is rocky). A long promenade with restaurants and bars plus all the necessary shops (chemists, supermarkets etc). The owner Alessandro was extremely helpful, arranging a car from the bus to take us to/from the airport having previously rung me (he speaks good English) and told me how easy the bus would be (7 euros each way compared to a taxi at £55). He also gave us free wifi all week and use of a safe. The outside pool is brand new & beautifully clean. The accommodation was perfect for our requirements, a good sized 2 bed room with an ensuite shower room with wc and bidet. The room had a patio terrace to well tended gardens. The only thing I would change to give an excellent rating would be the addition of air conditioning. We managed with the ceiling fan but in the height of summer it may have been very hot at night. The place is beautiful and littered with archaeological remains. The public transport is cheap & easy to use. There's plenty to see, do and visit including the Aeolian islands. A week wasn't long enough- we intend to return!!

Great service at the check-in hotel, and Villa Collina was clean, great service, super-cosy place to stay!
