It was a great location - close to train station (less than 5 minutes walking), multiple restaurants close by (two right in the same building), lake also very close - we could see the lake from the window. Very close to the Munich - both by car and by train. We were there in the November, and a lot of activities were limited (Boats on the lake stop cruising in the late October), so if you get there during a warmer months, you should be able to get more lake-related entertainment.
Apartment itself is nice, 2-level, with ample space, all amenities, very clean. Will happily rent again if I am in the same area.
The only thing I did not like was a narrow designated parking place (free), which I was warned about by the hosts in advance. However, there was free parking in the yard.
