    This was our first stay at the Vamar Vallarta, which we chose mainly for the location in the Marina area. We had an issue with the first room we were assigned, and after looking at two other room options, my wife and I were reassigned to a larger room with twin beds and a balcony with a view. We were very thankful for Fabian at the front desk who listened to our concerns, then took this opportunity to remedy the situation and moved us into a room more appropriate to our needs for our week stay. We were so pleased Fabian took this as the opportunity to to make things right, I see no reason to focus on the problems, but instead highlight the solution we received. Well done! We were so pleased our situation was remedied positively and my wife and I could focus on enjoying our week at the Vamar Vallarta stress free. We only ate at the Marina side buffet restaurant, and found there were sufficient options to meet our breakfast, lunch and dinner needs. Of specific note, were the soups available at lunch and dinner - absolutely delicious! There are two a la carte restaurants but we didn't book into either and for this reason are unable to comment on either venue. The staff in the buffet restaurant and the lobby bar share a friendly disposition and sense of humour, and were consistently helpful and professional. I have to also mention Miguel, Bellman Captain for his ever present kindness and eagerness to help us obtain the best possible experience at the Vamar Vallarta. Interestingly we found these positive personality characteristics in Miguel's fellow Bellmen, which was very refreshing and appreciated by us and fellow hotel guests. My wife and I chose the Vamar Vallarta so we could totally unplug and enjoy a stress-free week focusing on relaxing at the circular pool at the Marina side of the property, or the pool and beach at the Bay of Bandaras side of the property, reading books and enjoying the spectacular views of both locations. Well done folks!
