Villa Cas Metge

We had a wonderful stay in Port d’es Canonge. The house is located in a beautiful and peaceful area, surrounded by typical Mallorcan scenery. We really enjoyed the rocky beach and the beautiful landscape, as well as doing the ‘Volta des General’ hiking route. We also had a fantastic paella at Can Toni Moreno. The road to the house is quite winding, and our son got a little car sick on the way, so this is something to be aware of. But for us, it was absolutely worth it. We really enjoyed our stay and would happily come back.

Everything was perfect

. We absolutely loved our stay at Cas Metge. We travelled as a family with our two children, aged 4 and 6, and my husband, and it was the perfect place for us. The house is a charming traditional Mallorcan home that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. It was spotless, comfortable, and perfectly located in the peaceful village of Port des Canonge. We really enjoyed the quiet surroundings, the breathtaking scenery, the nearby sea, and the two excellent local restaurants, where we had some of the best meals of our trip. Our children loved the peaceful atmosphere and having nature all around them. Keep in mind that the village is very small, with only these two restaurants and no shops or supermarkets, so it's a good idea to buy groceries before arriving. The drive to Port des Canonge is part of the experience. The last 15 minutes take you through the Tramuntana mountains on a winding road, but the views are spectacular and well worth it. If you're looking to experience the authentic side of Mallorca, relax, and disconnect from the crowds, this is the perfect place. However, if you're looking for nightlife, shopping, or a lively city atmosphere, this probably isn't the right destination for you

Honestly, we loved everything about our stay. The only thing to keep in mind is that Port des Canonge is not a central location, which is actually part of its charm. To reach the village, you need to drive about 15 minutes down a winding mountain road through the Tramuntana mountains. For us, it was part of the experience and the views were absolutely worth it.
