The gite is set in beautiful rolling farmland in a quiet part of the Vende. We loved the expansive gardens with scents of lavender and rosemary wafting on the breeze. The pool was well maintained and so refreshing in the heat of the summer. The kitchen was well equipped, with a dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. Bathrooms were very good, with towels provided. The living room was great for relaxing in the evenings.
It would have been nice to have had some shops and restaurants in our local village, but there were some in the next village just a few minutes drive away. Unfortunately, it was a little too far to walk, so a car is definitely recommended for staying at this property.
