The host is very communicative and friendly, provides support if needed. Spacious, comfortable and clean house with everything we needed. Great place to stay and relax :)

The house was super clean and nice smelling, air-conditioned, fully equipped for a stay (everything needed, including vacuum cleaner, washing machine, iron and ironing board, spare towels and blankets, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, plates and cutlery). It was large and comfortable, with a big yard, and shaded veranda. It really felt like the only thing missing was a pool (the yard practically can accommodate another house), then we would have stayed at the house all day. The area was nice and quiet, full of olive trees. There were 2-3 wild turtles in the garden, very cute. Excellent value for the money. Very friendly and attentive host (Christina) who arranged everything perfectly and easy from check-in to check-out. I recommend visiting the old village of Palaios Panteleimonas in the mountains, some 20km away.

I must admit that the location of the house, the village (Leptokarya) and the beach there were kind of disappointing. While that has nothing to do with the property itself, it still mattered to us for our first trip to Greece. The house is located good 2.7-3.0km from the beach and even though this distance is perfectly fine for walking, the area was not so much. From the beach, the road to the house goes through the village, through an underpass on the motorway and then uphill, at the end there is another like 200m of dirt road to the gate. So, we went by car almost every day, also because during the day and especially in the evenings there were dogs outside and around - not sure if they were stray (there was a lady who was feeding them in the evenings) but certainly not always friendly. We did not have any problems with them but it felt unsafe. The beach in Leptokarya and the ones around were super busy and not so clean, especially on the weekends. They were advertised online as sandy, but they were mostly pebbled and you need beach shoes. Perhaps it was the season (July) but in the evenings there was a swarm of mosquitoes, other bugs and spiders. The mosquitos, in particular, were vicious and made our evenings on the veranda difficult. And lastly, for some reason the water pressure in the kitchen and in the second floor bathroom was weak most of the time.
