GRANDE VILLA DE STANDING - villa CELENE

We had a wonderful stay here. The house itself is exceptional: very spacious, impeccably clean and decorated with excellent taste. The furniture, A/C, kitchen equipment and appliances are all of a very high standard - carefully chosen and very well maintained. I would say even better than in the photos. we particularly appreciated how well equipped the villa is. There are three different places where you can cook/barbeque, all fully equipped, and several terraces and outdoor corners, so you can enjoy a different setting for breakfast, an apéro or dinner The garden is beautiful, with abundant vegetation, a perfectly maintained lawn and a great variety of plants. The swimming pool is also extremely clean and very well maintained on a daily basis. A special mention must go to the people looking after the villa. The on-site host was extremely professional, helpful and discreet. He was always available whenever we needed assistance, while at the same time giving us complete privacy when we didn't. Beyond that, we also had some genuinely interesting and enjoyable conversations together over a drink when I invited him to join us — something that made our stay even more memorable. The lady who takes care of the cleaning was equally kind and helpful. She keeps the villa spotlessly clean and can also help with local cooking, which is a lovely extra if you want to discover Senegalese food during your stay. And not to forget the owner who always picked up before, during and after stay to insure we have all we need. Really god balance: high-standard property with excellent service, but without ever feeling formal or intrusive. You have the space and privacy of your own villa, while knowing that helpful and professional people are there whenever you need them. a place we would happily return to
