Cet appartement bien situé, tenu par une très sympathique et très charmante propriétaire (je vous souhaite de la rencontrer), qui m'a gentiment aidé pour l'organisation d'activités (et les réservations à l'avance), dispose de toutes les commodités et fonctionnalités dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pour passer un agréable séjour à Watamu. C'est vraiment une super alternative à l'hôtel si vous voulez passer un excellent séjour, en autonomie, à Watamu. P.S. : un conseil pour votre séjour : profiter d'un coucher de soleil sur la plage aux 7 îles (en face de la Love Island), avec un petit resto local juste à côté a tout son charme. Les Ruines de Gedi sont également plus intéressantes que ce que l'on imagine sur base des photos. Si vous n'avez pas peur, faire les trajets en taxi-moto (par exemple avec Matthias ; +254 798 386988) a aussi son charme pour découvrir la ville

The location and the balcony

When we arrived at the apartment, we opened the refrigerator and found a lot of ants. We were told there was air conditioning, but it turned out it was broken. She said she was going to call a technician, but clearly he never showed up. (She says she sent him, when she never told us if someone would actually come.) The AC should have been working anyway, because it was advertised. We always pay for a place with air conditioning (which is more expensive to avoid the heat) and we were hot all the time. It has a fan that makes a tremendous noise and isn't enough. We asked for an ant spray, and they brought it to us the second day, and it was empty. We found cockroaches (We don’t have time to take photos, but they was in the washbasin), and when we told the owner, she mocked us, saying, "What if we couldn't kill two cockroaches?" Even a slipper would do it. When you don't go on vacation to fumigate, there shouldn't be any bugs. The shower barely runs, and it's super hard to take a good shower. One of the worst hosts, with no sense of service, had a downright childish attitude when she blocked me on WhatsApp when I told her what was wrong with the apartment. It's on the third floor, so if you have limited mobility, don't even think about it. (O don’t know why, but booking it’s not letting me upload photos)
