The flat is well located for the historic town, tourist office, bus station, supermarkets. Some of the photographs are of the adjacent presumably mirror image property but still give an accurate impression. Bright in daylight. Clean. Things generally worked: hot water, wifi (one loss of connexion, resolved by switching router off and on), electricity (one short circuit), washing machine (detergent was apparently provided though l failed to spot it), fridge, toaster, kettle. The flat is on the ground floor. There are solid wooden shutters for the window to the street. No noise from outside. Rain on the roof could be noisy.

When booking l gave my arrival time as 18.00. I emailed the day before arrival saying that l might be arriving early but that message was not acted on. In the end codes were not sent out by 15.00 and l had to telephone to gain access. The main living/ kitchen area is a double height room under an exposed pitched roof. It has a concrete floor with some rugs. Rain leaked in under two of the doors and there were some damp patches on the walls. Two heaters, but heat rises and so in the cold weather the living area did not get warm and l sat in a blanket. Towels did not get quite dry. The sleeping area is above on a balcony and that was too warm. Lighting was good over the kitchen work surface and in the bathroom. There was no good light for reading. Some light switches were awkwardly placed - there is none you can reach while lying in bed. Sockets were awkwardly placed: the staircase was the only place to sit and use a computer on mains power. Lots of storage space for things on shelves but little for hanging clothes. If you intend to cook, l saw no consumables (apart from a carefully rationed quantity of washing-up liquid and two Nespresso capsules), so check what you would need to bring.
