The outdoor area was lacking, Very small room, no place for luggage Towels were not nice and soft, no face cloth We’re told to bring beach towels , we did not have any No information pamphlets about the area’s restaurants or amenities Even information on how to access the ocean Very bare minimum

Room is very comfortable and private with a great kitchenette. Really warm shower is great. Jenny is so helpful and nice. Would definitely book again. Short drive to town

Great getaway trip

My husband and I had a wonderful time here. Very clean, thoughtfully decorated, cozy, comfy and private, had everything we needed and expected (as per photos and description). One of the best surf spots in Raglan is just steps ways with a fantastic sunset. The outdoor shower with hot water is a plus! Highly recommend and can’t wait to come back!

Lack of communication - people answering the phone knew nothing about booking.com or my booking - couldn't get in - no one was contactable - when we did get in touch with the person they were stressed out and couldn't spend the time helping us find WIFI or get in. No email on how to get WIFI. No microwave.

nice location, basic accomodation, clean and quiet

location is really great, super close to Whale Cove access. clean, comfortable. Kind of a funky space, no view but worked for my needs which was just overnight arrive late leave early. Parking on street right outside gate so super easy. No cell service, but decent wifi for the most part. nice peaceful night's rest. small fridge and electric kettle.

Key for entry very sticky, took me almost 10 min to make it work, I was about to give up. A shot of wd40 might do wonders. Wifi kept kicking me off, but worked pretty well when it stayed connected. Chairs feel like you're going to fall through (maybe put a new piece of plywood in them?) and I'm only 55kg. Note that "kitchenette" is a stretch. Kettle, mini fridge and microwave, but no sink so you wash dishes in bathroom.
