Urania - Kitries

Περάσαμε ένα πολύ ήσυχο και όμορφο σκ στο Urania. Το κατάλυμα ήταν πεντακάθαρο, είχε όλες τις ανέσεις, ακόμα και προϊόντα για να φτιάξεις το πρωινό σου. Βρίσκεται σε εξαιρετική τοποθεσία και από το μπαλκόνι έχεις απίστευτη θέα στη θάλασσα. Ο κ. Νίκος, ο ιδιοκτήτης, ήταν πολύ κατατοπιστικός πριν την άφιξή μας και στη συνέχεια πρόθυμος αν και εφόσον θέλαμε κάτι. Θα ξαναπάμε σίγουρα! ΥΓ. Κλιματιστικό έχει μόνο στο σαλόνι αλλά για την κρεβατοκάμαρα σου παρέχονται μέσα στην ντουλάπα, αερόθερμα που τα ρυθμίζεις στο ζεστό ή κρύο ανάλογα με την εποχή, οπότε είσαι μια χαρά.

We had an amazing stay at Urania - waking up to a beautiful view of the ocean each day was heaven. Nikos was extremely thoughtful and gave us a warm welcome and has been very helpful returning a shirt which we accidentally left at the property. The apartment was very clean and well stocked with teas coffees and snacks. Thank you Nikos, we will be back!

A beautifully appointed, sparkling clean flat with exceptional sea views, with a pretty citrus and olive trees just below your window. There are double doors in both the living room area and the bedroom with fly screens. Both of these have blackout roller shades. Clean and modern bathroom and kitchen, both well stocked. There is a lovely patio sitting area just outside the front door, although I didn’t use it because it was a bit chilly when I was visiting. It’s exceptionally quiet, birds chirping and roosters crowing and the sea lapping at the shore in the morning. I can think of nothing better. Sunsets are a dream. It's very quiet and peaceful. Mr. Nikos Foifas is a charming and generous host and very accommodating and helpful. In the flat you will find so many extras, but I don’t want to ruin the suprise. Plenty of electrical outlets, good lighting and there was even a little space heater for between seasons. Everything in this flat is brand new, including the appliances and a washer, and there is also a drying rack on the patio. Note that although the unit is located in the lower floor of the property there are several steps to climb to get there but easy enough to manage with a sturdy handrail. Just something to know if you are mobility challenged or have heavy bags. Parking is right out front and there is a taverna next door open seasonally. I had a delicious lunch at a taverna in the village. I had a lovely time staying at Urania and I hated to leave! Highly recommend, you’re just minutes away from Kalamata or Kardamyli and a walk down the street from darling Kitries. Ancient Messene is only 1 hour away.

The apartment is brand new and has stunning views from the patio, living room, and bedroom. The living area is cozy and the couch is very comfortable. The host is kind and responsive, and I appreciated the welcome package. The location is close to the sea and there are really nice beaches and restaurants within walking distance.

The layout felt a bit unusual, with a step in the middle of the space and no door to the bedroom. The mattress and bedding were very uncomfortable. There is noticeable noise from the road, and there are a lot of stairs to reach the apartment. It is also tucked underneath another house, which may explain the layout.
