Catalina Cottage

We loved the 70’s feel of the decor, which gave the cottage plenty of character and made it feel like a proper holiday house. It had everything we needed for our stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, a BBQ and a washing machine. It was also an easy walk to the jetty, and there was plenty of off-street parking for our cars.

Hot water was the main issue: the house sleeps up to 7, but the 250 litre hot water service is set to off-peak, so it was cold by the time the fourth shower came around and we had to wait overnight for it to come back. The price was similar to other fully catered places where linen is included, but we had to bring our own. The outside toilet was a novelty, though it was cold at night.

It's really good and the location is perfect for the family's beach interest.

It's just the toilet. You have to go out the house in the middle of the night to toilet.

Beautiful little place not far from the beach
