Hostmark Blue Beach Hotel

Fabulous hotel in a fantastic location. The sea view rooms are amazing. The private beach is amazing, the water is amazing. Marsah Matruh itself is a fabulous town full of lovely welcoming egyptians who cannot do enough to help you. Best of all, even with the views, the water, the location, absolutely amazing staff. From welcome to departure they could not do enough for us. Ms Amira, the wonderful breakfast egg lady - what a delightful smile to welcome us, and delicious omelettes! Fathiya, our cleaning lady, was just so very accommodating, and goodness me, she works hard. Mohammed and Fatima on the front desk were fabulous. The beach assistant who went away and booked our boat trip for us, he went way above and beyond. I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The management should be very pleased and proud of their achievements in assmebling such a wonderful group of people who were all excellent at their jobs.

Okay, the room was probably a self-catering apartment/studio in a previous life, and some of the kitchen and bathroom fittings were a bit tired. But I would not change a thing, it was the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed in in Egypt.

Nice hotel next to the beach in Marsa Matruh. Shops, restaurants nearby. Free wifi and delicious breakfast. Own beach.
