Villa Aloe 4

Great location a 10 min walk from the beach and a little longer to the marina. We really enjoyed our stay here. The villa is quiet and close to the road to Papagayo. Parking is easy and the villa has plenty loungers and outside space. Sun rise at the front of the villa was epic on a few mornings.

The freezer was broken for the first few days but it was replaced after made contact. A blanket or two for the leather sofas would be a nice touch as off season/night time it can be cool.

With the few minor issues we had to contact the owner about, these were resolved quickly and they always responded to messages quickly. Quiet location.

There’s a lot of flaking white paint, particularly at the back and there are a lot of weeds at the front and all around the artificial grass at the back. The outdoor furniture is moulded white plastic which is a bit dated - both villas either side have more stylish furniture. Indoors some of the paintwork needs refreshing. There is no access to any kind of streaming service (Netflix etc) and this is the first time we have not had this. We had 5 days or so where the weather wasn’t great so it would have been good to have this as an alternative to all the books we read. The bed was extremely comfortable but, the sheets supplied were not fitted sheets so kept on coming untucked which was annoying too.

Great villa. Super clean Lots of amenities Even left us a few beers.

Later check out would have been great Heated pool would have been a massive benefit too
