The cottage was located in a little slice of paradise. It was well equipped and the kids loved the children’s play area. Absolutely perfect for a get away from city life and some peace and quiet.

The cottage is in beautiful surroundings. The owners ensured we had contact details for them, should anything happy. Upon our arrival they were present and had also provided scones, jam and cream after our long journey, which I thought was a lovely touch. It was quiet and just what we were looking for as our first family holiday. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

A wonderful spot to spend a week after lockdown with my family including two young grandchildren aged 1 and 4. We had deliberately looked for somewhere isolated but with plenty to do nearby. The play area with many push along toys and go-karts with so much space to use them was a huge plus for the children and we all enjoyed wandering through the woods on the owner's land. Rob, the owner, was extremely welcoming and on the couple of occasions we had difficulties was very quick to sort them out. I have recommended this cottage to friends with grandchildren. We had a very enjoyable week`s stay, cottage is a mix of old charm and modern kitchen and bathrooms, beds were clean and very comfortable. We had a welcome pack of tea, coffee etc and jam and cream scones. Very picturesque setting, we had dinner in the local pub one evening but cottage although quite rural is within easy travelling of all tourist sites so finding places to eat and drink is not a problem. Would definitely stay again. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo
