Vacation rental with antique charm (Gründerzeit and Art Nouveau furniture) in the
center of Fritzlar, with sweeping views of the idyllic
countryside, next to the historic city wall and the Regilturm.
The vacation rental was completed just this year, 2025, following the renovation of both bathrooms and the front door, and now serves as a cozy, comfortable, and elegant retreat for up to 5 people.
The apartment is located in an old half-timbered house that was built after the war on the site of the original horse stable and carriage garage belonging to a Fritzlar family of mill owners, when the family’s
Wilhelminian-style villa was used as a
base by American occupying forces. The landlord (a descendant of this family)
lives on the upper floor, while the first floor consists of the
vacation rental (with a separate entrance from the garden) and a
restoration workshop.
Balcony on the sunny side, use of the garden, barbecue facilities.
Parking available in the courtyard for an additional 10 euros per day.
Regilturm Vacation Rental:
The apartment is located in an old half-timbered house, which was built after the war on the site of the original horse stable and carriage garage belonging to a Fritzlar family of mill owners, at a time when the family’s Wilhelminian-style villa was being used as a base by American occupying forces.
The owner (a descendant of this family) lives on the upper floor; the first floor consists of the vacation rental (with a separate entrance from the garden) and a restoration workshop.
Parking is available in the courtyard for an additional fee of 10 per night.

There is a hallway with a coat rack and mirror, a bedroom with a double bed and a single bed, a living and dining room with a pull-out sofa (sleeps 2 additional guests), a large bathroom with a walk-in shower and Moroccan flair, and a rustic-style kitchen with a stove/oven.
All rooms offer a stunning view of the green countryside.
Furnished with loving attention to detail and featuring Wilhelminian and Art Nouveau furniture, the apartment invites you to linger no matter the weather.
In the evening, you can gaze at the stars from the large balcony overlooking the garden or (for a small additional fee) fire up the grill and make yourself comfortable in the garden among the rose beds and fruit trees. Here, that vacation feeling comes naturally.
There is free Wi-Fi, as well as a TV with cable and a CD player.
Bed linens and small towels are, of course, included in the price. There are 2 closets available for use.
