About this house rental
This renovated 1875 Rockport Village house with a beautifully landscaped backyard and stone patio enjoys views over an expansive nature preserve. This location is walking distance to fabulous restaurants, Rockport Harbor and the much-loved Beauchamp Point walking/jogging loop. It has been a great home for me (Valerie) while practicing real estate at Sotheby's in Camden. Now I am looking to be down south more and I am looking for short-term Summer rentals for 2026 and longer-term Winter rentals, October-May 2025.
Most rooms in the house enjoy the lovely view including the large eat-in kitchen with counter seating plus dining for six. Two living room areas to spread out in include a sunroom and a separate TV viewing area.
All the bedrooms have private bathrooms. The primary bedroom on the second floor has a king size bed, a gas log fireplace and a balcony for morning coffee overlooking the gardens. The primary bathroom has a deep soaking tub, a large marble tiled shower with a seat and a double vanity. The second bedroom with a queen size bed has a tub/shower combo. The third bedroom is on the second floor with a queen bed and a large layout with a 1/2 bath right outside the door. Upstairs on the third floor is a unique open layout full floor suite with beadboard paneled walls and a vaulted ceiling with ceiling fans, a queen size bed, a full size bed and a bathroom with a stall shower.
This house has beautiful wood floors, tons of natural light, a large kitchen with high-end appliances, and overlooks a .5 acre garden It has many lovely sitting rooms with the primary suite having a soaking tub, tiled shower, and balcony.
There is also a 1 bedroom suite that is not included in the rooms/bathrooms above that I rent out separately but could be available during this time. It has a separate entrance/exit driveway with no shared space.
This property is located right in Rockport Village and less than a 5-minute walk to Rockport harbor, the new library, and Buachamp Point. This property backs up to a field with a frog pond and a local golf course.
Everything included: wifi, heating, water, hot water, off-street parking, gardening landscaping, and snow removal in the winter.
