Bicycles can also be hired in Umkirch. The Mundenhof animal enclosure is located between Umkirch and Freiburg and is well worth a visit. The Europapark can be reached within 30 minutes. There are also many hiking opportunities in the Black Forest, the Kaiserstuhl and the Vosges mountains. France is also only 16 km away.
