About this house rental
In an agricultural hamlet in the middle of the AOC Bandol vineyards, this old house, semi-detached on both sides but not overlooked, has remained in the spirit of the houses here, simple, friendly, both quiet but also very close to the natural and heritage treasures of the region. It has the soul of books, sculptures and paintings by local or antique artists, a piano and others.
The house has the soul of Provence discreet and charming with its old walls, its ornamental pond, its wine-growing neighbours, its fields free of olive trees and just opposite the authentic village of La Cadière d'Azur where it is good to have a coffee or an aperitif under the plane trees of the rue de la mairie.
We park in the field in front of the entrance, you can enjoy the shady garden and then you can escape to the creeks, towards the ports, right next door, of Lecques, Bandol or Sanary, you can also go and see all the places of art that abound around, walk, play golf, savor the local cuisine in all the summer tables between land and sea.
It is composed as follows:
An entrance hall with corridor leading to the first floor:
- An imposing living room with wood stove, piano and large bay window
- A large fully equipped kitchen with dining area and its beautiful stone sink
- A charming dining room with fireplace
- A bathroom with toilet and washing machine
- A walled garden for outdoor meals in the shade of the chestnut tree and a salt pond, perfect for cooling off on hot summer days
A terracotta staircase takes you upstairs. On the landing you have an office space. A central corridor then leads:
- A first bedroom with a 160 cm double bed with cupboard and dressing room
- A second bedroom with a 160 cm double bed with en-suite bathroom and direct access
- A master suite on the courtyard side with a 160cm double bed, ceiling fan and its large en-suite bathroom with dressing room
The house has 3 private parking spaces just in front of the entrance.
A terrace on the main entrance side also allows you to benefit from the sunshine at the end of the day.
Beautiful walks are to be done directly from the house, with the villages of La Cadière d'Azur and Le Castellet as a backdrop.
