Les Genêts Bleus: Ancient charm in the heart of the maquis

Nestled in the heart of lush nature and overlooking the Rhône Valley, the "Les Genêts Bleus" house offers an idyllic and typically Provençal setting, inviting you to slow down and relax to the sound of cicadas and birds. This former family farmhouse, with its old-world charm, will evoke sweet childhood memories. For decades, it has brought the family together for holidays, making it a special place filled with conviviality. Accommodation: The house is arranged over 2 levels. On the first floor you will find: - A large living room incorporating the kitchen, dining area, and a lounge area with a TV and a sofa bed that can accommodate 2 children (under 12) or 1 adult. The kitchen includes the following: a large combination refrigerator, a gas hob, an oven, a microwave, a dishwasher, a standard filter coffee maker, a toaster, and a kettle.
- A bathroom with shower, toilet, washbasin with storage units and a washing machine.

You will access the upper floor via an original stone staircase, which can be made inaccessible to children with a gate. Upstairs, you will find: - A play and library corner with some toys, collectible books, and children's books. - A first bedroom with two single beds (120 cm) and a wardrobe + one extra single bed (90 cm) if needed (up to 3 people). - A second bedroom with one double bed (160 cm), one extra single bed (90 cm), a cot, and a wardrobe (up to 3 people + 1 baby). Outside: Les Genêts Bleus has no Facing off the property, it offers complete privacy in the heart of the maquis shrubland. You'll enjoy a semi-shaded terrace, ideal for sharing wonderful moments over a meal in the company of the horses whose field is just a few meters away. You'll also appreciate being able to take a nap in the shade of the chestnut trees, soothed by the sounds of nature. Parking: It is possible to easily park 3 cars in front of the accommodation. Location: Perched on the volcanic ridges of the village of Rochemaure (classified as a "Village of Character"), the accommodation overlooks the Rhône Valley, which can be seen from the house. It is the perfect balance between accessibility and escape: by car, you can reach Montélimar and the Cruas Nuclear Power Plant in 20 minutes, the A7 motorway in 26 minutes, the Ardèche Gorges and Valence in 50 minutes, or Avignon in 1 hour 15 minutes.

Amenities nearby: supermarket, restaurants, bakeries, tobacconist, gas station 10 minutes by car in the village of Rochemaure.

Within a 45-minute to 1-hour radius, you can also canoe or kayak down the Ardèche Gorges, the Drôme Valley, or the Eyrieux Valley, and try canyoning and via ferrata.
