Nesting in the vibrant Eastern Market, one of DC’s most popular neighborhoods with great access to the rest of DC. Just steps from Barracks Row, and Eastern market with its metro stop and incredible mix of markets, restaurants, cafes, shops, and entertainment, this home provides the perfect base for exploring all that the area has to offer. This property also comes with a visitor parking pass.
The Space:
This artful space is perfect for families or friends alike! With it’s wonderfully comfortable and spacious living room. There is a smart TV to watch all your favorite shows and relax after a day in the city. Our full-sized kitchen is equipped with all the essentials to whip up a delicious meal. We also make sure to stock you with coffee and tea and the basic amenities you need for your stay! With two separate bedrooms and a sofa bed in the living room, it is the perfect space for traveling families and friends! We can sleep 6 guests with the following configuration:
Queen Bed in Bedroom 1 - sleeps 2
Queen Bed in Bedroom 2 - sleeps 2
Queen Sofa bed in Living Room - sleeps 2

In addition, we are about 5 minutes away from the 90/92 stop which will get you to Adams Morgan / U st that has incredible night life! We also are 1-3 blocks away from several Capital Bikeshares and bus lines, including the 30S, 36, 90 and more! You can buy SmarTrip tickets (like plastic credit cards) or paper tickets at the station, the SmarTrip cards give a better rate per ride than the paper tickets. (Ask for a senior rate if applicable). By Bike: - Capital Bikeshare offers bikes for rent by the hour or day and are available at the intersection at 12th St & Pennsylvania Ave SE and Eastern Market Metro / Pennsylvania Ave & 7th St SE. Living room and eating area didn't really have enough space for four people. Really only 3 soft chairs and the table was crammed into the counter.Beds were pretty comfortable. Kitchen really well stocked. Lots of character.

The host company was very helpful with all of our questions. The back yard area definitely seems like it is being used by the upstairs renter. All of their stuff (half put together bike, a cooler, etc) was all over the back yard.The beds were comfortable and it was a great location.

My wife and I have occasionally come to Washington DC to enjoy the museums, monuments and restaurants. Of all the places we have ever stayed, this one has absolutely been the best!So many of them around the mall, our basement apartments so the light in them is not great. This one was on a nice ground floor so it was easy to get in and out, but had full windows, even a bit of the front and backyard.The landlady here was an excellent communicator. She was generally back to me within an hour of any communication or question I sent, and I did send several. Most appreciated was the fact that she clearly went out of her way to include every possibility amenity she could too provide storage, desks, pillows, closet, space, hangers, extra blankets, extra pillows, etc.I often have a pet peeve when sinks have no room around them to set your toiletries, but that was no problem here. There is plenty of room in both bathrooms to set our toiletries.In our case, my wife and I rented this place just for the two of us. We generally slept in the master bedroom, which was quite comfortable and use the additional small room for laying out our suitcases, etc. That shed, this place would be just fine for three or even four people.One evening, I got up in the middle of the night and went into the living room where I fell asleep on the sofa. It was quite comfortable for sleeping and I slept there all night with nice fluffy blankets around me.Kudos and thanks to our landlords. Great trip!
