About this cottage rental
If you’re looking for a cottage that feels like it’s home from home, then Heron Cottage is probably it! Situated on a quiet back lane, you can abandon the car and enjoy walks and cycling routes from the door.
Entering through a utility/ boot room into the kitchen/diner, a glazed door and step leads into the sitting room with a large feature fireplace, wood burner and a further glazed rear door onto a paved terrace, overlooking your secluded lawned garden.
The spacious master bedroom is on a mezzanine, with 5’ king size bed and original, vaulted pine beams and floorboards.
A bathroom (rain-head shower over bath) and a further bedroom with a 4’ double bed (sloping ceiling towards the window slightly reducing the head-height) both lead off the master bedroom.
Washing machine – dishwasher – fridge - small freezer – cooker & microwave – tv & dvd player – cd/radio - wood burner – bed linen and towels provided.
Oil central heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are included.
Village shop and pub within walking distance.
Sorry, no pets and strictly no smoking. As with many character properties, ceiling heights and doorways are lower than today's new homes - please take care when moving around the cottage.
