If it's panoramic views, rarified mountain air and comfortable accommodations you're after, Montane at Windcliff is your dream rental home!
Perched at 8,440' of elevation in the private, quiet residential enclave of Windcliff Estates, just outside of the quaint postcard town of Estes Park, Colorado, on the doorstep of Rocky Mountain National Park, Montane is a half duplex (condo) that offers 3 bedrooms and 2-1/2 bathrooms, a 1-car garage and all of the comforts you need to make your family mountain memories year after year.
You'll enter the home through the entryway shared with the attached neighboring duplex, Mountain Time (rent them both together for the ULTIMATE family arrangements!) where you'll enter the living and kitchen area but your yes, heart and soul will be pulled through the windows where snow-capped mountain views of the Continental Divide permeate and dominate your senses. There's an HDTV that you'll very likely forget to notice or even watch as the views take command through the wrap around windows. A wood-burning fireplace stands at the ready should the evening temperatures drop beyond your comfort level. Step through the living and dining area out to the deck for even less obstructed panoramic mountain views. In the prairie below, don't be surprised if you are visited by mule deer, rabbits, raptors, bobcats, black bears, elk or even moose!
Back inside, you'll find everything you need to prepare meals in the well appointed chef's kitchen, eat-in bar for 4 or dining area that comfortably seats 6. Just off the main living area is the primary bedroom with ensuite full luxury bath.
Downstairs you'll find another living area complete with HDTV, billiard table and two more bedrooms for your guests who have shared access to the hall bath and dry sauna. Walk out from the lower living area to the outdoor deck and be eye to eye with the land and in awe of the seemingly endless mountain backdrop.

Getting the place to stay cool enough at night was a struggle. Realized we had to open up the windows all night to be able to be comfortable to sleep.

We stayed at this property for a birthday celebration. We had 4 adults and lots of space! The views are stunning from this property. Perfect to see the mountains. The house is really well decorated and has every amenity you could want and some more. The kitchen is really well stocked for cooking meals. It is a steep road leading up to the house so be prepared. We would definitely stay again. Had a wonderful time.

The home was so beautifully decorated with extremely comfortable beds, plenty of comfortable seating, decks for relaxing and the kitchen had all we needed to cook several meals in. Perfect for our group of 5. We played a couple rounds of pool too. The views were incredible! We felt like we were in the RMNP! Great location for park entrance and downtown Estes Park. Dianna and Jon were great hosts and we could tell they wanted us to feel very welcomed and to enjoy their property! Would highly recommend!

What a beautiful home up in the mountains! We thoroughly enjoyed our time sitting on the back deck, enjoying the views, the comfy mattresses, the well stocked kitchen! I do not have anything negative to say about this property!!
