Welcome to this peaceful cabin, nestled on the edge of the Lincoln National Forest, just 4 miles outside of Cloudcroft.
Please note * This is an OFF-GRID cabin. STAIRS are 12 steps up to the bedrooms, with a Composting Toilet type restroom located on the first floor. NO TRAILERS OR RV’s as there is not a turn around.
This lovely retreat features 2 cozy bedrooms with one queen bed and 3 twin size beds, perfect for a relaxing getaway with friends and/or family. With propane heating or a wood fireplace available, guests can relax in the comfortable living space indoors or enjoy the propane fire pit on the balcony while overlooking the forest. Enjoy your morning coffee while looking for wildlife and birdwatching. *Unplugged/Off-Grid/ Solar power with Generator backup * No phone service/ Wi-Fi available for Wi-Fi Calling * Smart TV * Mountain gravel road (Oct thru Apr: Four-Wheel-Drive may be required) * Faucet water is from catch system. Bottled water is provided. * Composting toilet with easy-to-follow instructions * Freestyle forestry hiking

Very peaceful and quiet. Had some technical issues but Rebecca and her husband were super accomodating and responsive. Would love to stay again!

It was a wonderful stay. Only wish it could have been longer for us. Awesome mountain tree view. Hummingbirds and other pretty birds. Saw an elk. Just beware - NO Cell Phone Service - Until you get onto the WiFi. It was fun trying to meet up with other family in the area . Definitely want to plan on staying again and hopefully several more times.

We loved the place! The cabin was sweet, clean and well equipped!The patio with propane fire pit was wonderful. It did get a little warm in bedroom, upstairs, as there is no air-conditioning..just FYI.Host was great to communicate with!
