"Jaybirds" is a three bedroom, two bath single family home on one level with a king in the master, one queen bed and one double. Jaybird's is located in the country on the 275 acre Abbott Valley Homestead and is sited in a secluded area amidst swaying tamarack, birch and aspen. A fully equipped kitchen, dining area and master bedroom open out onto a lovely patio with a BBQ and dining area which is great for outdoor morning coffee and evening meals. A fire pit is perfect for relaxing and listening to the trees sway in the breeze and later for stargazing. There is a swing set and easy access to North Abbott Creek which is a paradise for nature lovers. Jaybird's was recently remodeled. While it retains the original knotty pine and charm, it is equipped with all the modern amenities and conveniences for your comfort.

Communication with the property owners was fantastic! We messaged a few times in the months before, and they were always very responsive. The property was absolutely just as described and had many extra things that we had not thought of.For us, having a crockpot was a big deal so we could go hike all day and come back to a cooked meal, but there were small things that we had not considered like a can opener or a cheese grater, etc., and they had them all! We brought all our own spices for cooking, but little things we had not thought of like cinnamon… They had it!The washer and dryer worked perfectly as we had to wash every day.For us, the location was perfect! We wanted to do hikes on both the west side and the east side. Of course, it is a bit of a drive to the east side, but it’s not terrible and totally worth it, especially for the convenience of the stores and other things close to you on the west side.The beds were comfortable! There were really nice fans in every room. Extra blankets. Comfortable pillows. Basically, all of the modern conveniences of home… yet away. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to hike glacier!I’m very glad that this specific VRBO has three bedrooms and two bathrooms so we can bring friends!Oh… And we also had a wonderful outdoor fire one night with firewood already cut and provided. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we highly recommend them… Except for the week we want to come back! Lol.

The location was perfect for a visit to Glacier National Park, since it was only a few minutes away. It was really nice to sit on the porch and listen to the waterfall in the nearby stream. The beds were also quite comfortable. We had everything we needed so it was a great visit!

We booked this home for 4 of us for 3 nights while visiting Glacier NP and wish we could stay longer to enjoy the place and its tranquility. Its location is beautiful and had almost everything we needed. This charming house feels very cozy and surrounded with trees, beautiful flowers pots, outdoor swings, etc. We didn't have a chance to use the outdoor amenities much but wish we had time for.
