    The hostel itself is great - good kitchen, clean areas, comfortable beds, albeit a bit squeaky and the ladder could be more secure. The hostel kindly let me check out late since my boat arrived in the early hours of the morning. I had an issue when checking in out of hours when reception is unmanned. A code was needed to open a lock box to get into the building. There was a notice at the front of the building to contact reception in case of problems, but there was not a number on the notice itself. An internet search did not come up with anything either. Fortunately it was in a previous email. The woman was helpful once I got through but turns out the hotel sends it a message with the code on the day but somehow customers who booked with Agoda do not get them. I would get in touch with the hotel in advance or book through another platform. Apart from the hiccup when checking in, the hostel itself is very good for value and well run.

    Location perfect, close to ferry, train station and bus station. Kitchen adequate for preparing simple meals. Laundry facility. Close to supermarkets and harbour views. Love it.

    Bodo is a pretty town/port. Love the location of the hostel. Will definitely be coming back. Kitchen has an airfryer which is fantastic.
