    There are some 3-4 aggressive dogs between the gate and the hotel. They bark and maneuver around you as if to bite you every time you try to come into the hotel. If the staff sees you, they calm the dogs down so you can enter. But what about when there are no staff. I had to wait outside for may be 15 minutes before i was able to checkin. There was no one outside except for the dogs. I couldn't get any contact info. I had to risk getting bitten, to get the attention of someone inside, so they can come to me and let the dogs know you are not a threat and then check in. The person doesn't even say sorry and acts as if its not at all a big thing and somehow i am at fault. This happens everytime you go out and try to come in. Not sure why no one else talked about it. If i had known this place was like this, i wouldn't have booked at all. The rooms are fine for the price. Same as any other hotel in bang krachao. They are very spacious as well. Balcony view is nothing to write home about though. Terrible location though. Pretty far from places where you can rent a bicycle from. There are very few riders, so grab and bolt is out of question. And most places you can only rent a bicycle for one day and have to give it back by end of day. So, plan it out on how you would reach the hotel after depositing your bicycle. I had to walk some 2 km the first day. Wouldn't be a problem if you own a bike. Also no wifi in the room. Edit: Got to know later from the owner that there is a bicycle renting within the premises. But not 100% sure, since I did ask the receptionist during my stay, if there was bicycle available for rent and she said no.

    Arttra Villa is a fantastic option for a relaxing weekend in Bang Kachao. The location is perfect, with easy access to cycling routes, charming cafes, and the botanical garden. We spent Saturday morning on a long run around the island, and it truly felt like we had escaped the city. The rooms are simple but comfortable, with a firm bed that we slept well on; though an extra pillow would have been nice. The pool was a big draw, especially in the heat, but sunbeds would make it even better since the available seating wasn’t the most comfortable. Bike rentals were available for 100 THB per day, which we initially thought were included. While convenient, you could probably find better-quality bikes elsewhere for the price. The staff were welcoming and friendly, even greeting us late on Friday night. One of the best parts of the stay was the four adorable dogs that live at the villa - they were an absolute joy and made the place feel even more inviting. Overall, Arttra Villa is a great value-for-money stay in a beautiful, peaceful area just outside of Bangkok. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway with a pool and plenty of nature, it’s well worth considering!
