Each unit has its own private entrance into the unit from the parking area. Unit features a private patio from the living room, and a private deck from the loft area. Deck and patio chairs are provided. The Algonquin Lodge, the office located at the Lake Placid Club Lodges at 30 Lake Placid Club Way, where you will check in upon arrival, is fully staffed 7 days a week. They will contact you prior to arrival to ensure a effortless check-in procedure. The office will offer the most up to date activities during your visit. The Lake Placid Club Lodges are located between 2 18-hole golf courses and Mirror Lake offering access to the municipal natural sand beach. Summer months there are water craft outfitters offering water craft rentals from paddle boarding, canoeing and kayaking. Winter offers crossing country skiing on Mirror Lake, walking distance to the Olympic speed skating oval and the toboggan chute. The convenience of the club's location, offers visitors walking distance along Lake Placid village main street. Starting at the Olympic Arena, and Convention center, speed skating oval, there are numerous ethnic restaurant's and shopping from unique Adirondack keepsakes to outdoor outfitters are all within minutes from the lodge's location. The Ski center is 9 miles, ski shuttle bus stops on Mirror Lake Drive, in front of the Lodges.
