Located in Les Collons 1850, only 50 meters from the ski-lifts "La Joc" and "Petit Vallon" (crossbow and plates), the building Le Cervin is one of the most popular for winter holidays. Nearby: restaurants, a sport shop and the Swiss Ski School (ESS). Directly served by the free ski-bus going from Les Masses to Thyon 2000 during the winter, you can spend your whole stay without using your own vehicle. A sauna, a play room, ski lockers and a laundry room are at residents' disposal.Outside parking places in front of the building (CHF 35.-/week in winter, free in summer) or garage places in the building (CHF 84.-/week) are to be reserved with the agency (subject to availability). -- Superb apartment recently renovated, light and bright. When we arrived, the rent company's office was closed. We arrived during business hours, but found a closed door. Via the answering machine, we found an emergency number that we dailed. After that, all problems were immediately solved. Same problem happened when we wanted to return the keys and other stuff after our holiday. Somehow there was miscommunication between us and the rent-company.
The appartment is nicely located high on the mountain, and nicely priced. Free swimming pool and table-tennis/table-football room are located next-door (which our sons liked). Perfect location to stay when you want to walk the mountains nearby (pic d'Artsinol is a very nice hike). Or when you want to drive around the Wallis valley.
Kitchen had some minor problems (dishwasher did not run on all programs, and the electric cooker had some bad habits. But we overcame all obstacles. After all, this is a relatively cheap place to stay in Wallis. So, don't expect everything to be perfect. We had a terrific holiday, and the appartment is really good for the money you pay for it.
