Great place for a short stopover!

We stayed in the 1 bedroom apartment an Orchard Court in January which was suitable, if a bit cosy, for the 3 of us girls but this month we booked the 2 bedroom apartment for the night. It was home from home for us! 2 spacious double bedrooms (comfortable beds) a fully equipped kitchen/diner area and open plan lounge with a huge and comfy L shaped sofa, coffee table & TV. Bath/shower room with shower gel, shampoo etc. clean towels were provided. There is only one thing us girls had a moan about and that was the tiny bathroom mirror. There’s a big spacious wall on the left that is screaming out for a big mirror to hang on it!!! Private carking space directly outside the building. Our 2nd visit here didn’t disappoint! Lovely, friendly hosts who communicate well with their customers & relay detailed instructions regarding the property. Literally a few seconds drive off the M6 J9. Very clean apartments and we will definitely be returning soon! Thank you x

Property was very clean and had everything we needed. Good for parking and easy check in

Curtains desperately needed in the main bedroom every car that drove past the security light came on and lit the whole room up. Worst night sleep Iv had! There was a very strange fishy smell thought it might have been from the people before maybe cooking but the smell remained for the whole stay

Good property let down by poor customer service from landlord, including late access to property.

The flat itself was fine, good value for the price, clean, good electric heaters and clear instructions left. Enough hot water for 2 people and beds/linen were clean and comfortable. Parking space for one and easy, on-street parking for second car. A pub and a few restaurants just a few minutes walk away.

TV wouldn't connect to Prime Video, no bedroom curtains in one bedroom, just blinds that let the light in. However, my main complaint is the inadequate customer service provided by the landlord. They insisted on receiving photo ID to an email address outside of booking.com to secure the booking (communicating outside the booking.com app is against the website's own online safety guidelines). I was uncomfortable with this but they insisted. Then, upon request of the full address and access details the night before our stay, the landlord initially refused, saying they would provide this once the flat was cleaned the next day. This was despite an agreed standard check-in time of 3pm-4pm. When I insisted upon the address for my sat nav, they gave me the address but still withheld information about keys, saying this would be whatsapped at lunchtime on the day of arrival. My sister arrived at the property after the agreed check-in time. I had to pull off the motorway to see if the whatsapp had arrived. It hadn't. My sister liaised with Booking.com for help. The landlord finally sent me keys/codes almost half an hour after our check-in time. The Landlord said throughout our tedious communications that they had experienced terrible guests in the past, hence their rigid stance on booking procedures and access. Whilst I am sympathetic to their plight, they need to manage this risk without damaging customer service and ensure timely access to property.

great - I would stay again

It is spacious, comfortable, very clean and well-appointed. Ground floor with parking just outside. Nice Mediterranean restaurant less than 5 minute walk (Casa Mia).

I had difficulty with check-in because I received notification only once I had left home that ID was required to check in. This was incredibly stressful since I don't carry passport, or utility bill with me! The hosts were very polite about it and in the end my student ID card sufficed. However if I hadn't had that with me, I don't quite know how we would have resolved it. I didn't ask their GDPR policy, but I would do if I were to book again. Darker curtains in the main bedroom would be welcome for summer. Finally, small fans were provided, not aircon.
